On Saturday 14th January we were delighted to welcome Italian Joycean scholars Enrico
Terrinoni and Fabio Pedone to the Tower. Enrico and Fabio have been translating Finnegans Wake into Italian and the first portion of their work was launched at the Italian Institute on Friday 13th. They were delighted to meet our colleague Robert Walsh, who leads the world’s largest reading group on Finnegans Wake each week in Fitzgeralds in Sandycove, and with whom they engaged animatedly in fine talk. The photograph shows our two friends holding a copy of their publication. Mind you, they may be setting a new trend in Joycean fashion!
